A True Leader
Leadership is a quality learned by very, very few.
A quality developed by the hard working and true.
The true souls devoted to encouraging another,
Teaching, admonishing and instructing a brother.
These leaders are very few and far between.
The great ones are found, seeking God, on their knees.
Leadership is all about coaching a friend.
Developing skills, talents and character deep within.
If you lift up another soul toward their goals and dreams,
It’s guaranteed they’ll be a faithful part of the team.
Real leaders think about the other person’s need.
Real leaders give all they have. To them it’s a planting seed
The great leaders put the needs of others before their own.
They realize that giving is what makes them well known.
They are devoted to encouraging and helping others out.
They cheer and support when the learners may doubt.
Doubt their abilities and doubt they’ll ever change.
But the true leader is the coach who will continue to train.
Train them in ways that will help them succeed.
Teach them to seek God for guidance, while down on their knees.
Leaders are like eagles. They’re found one at a time.
Flying high, high above the average bird in the sky.
They are above adversity and soar in the wind.
They look to One Source and on God they depend.
